Presentation Skills - Group/Team - (PRG)

Great for anyone...who has to present with confidence

Purpose:

This course is designed to develop the professional skills you need to give interesting formal and informal presentations. By the end of the course you will know what it takes to deliver a comprehensive, informative and persuasive presentation. You will learn how to manage your emotions as well as handle various types of audience response. After you have learned how, you will be asked to demonstrate key verbal, vocal and non-verbal strategies and control, in a non-threatening atmosphere. (So you get to use your new learning immediately!) This course helps you enormously in focussing your energies on developing more informed and effective presentations, better and more confident personal communication, productive use of your planning and presentation time and a positive approach to presenting to your audience.

This is a workshop all about developing your ability to present.

In it you will learn…

Voice Control - breathing, diction, vocal variety and projection - making what you say more thoughtful, powerful, persuasive and interesting - so that others can understand you.
Body Control - how to move, gesture and use space effectively. Don’t let your body tensions and bad posture undermine your message.

Presentation Tools (PRO)

Learn how to design and run great presentations

Purpose:

Learn how to use the latest and greatest presentation software such as Prezi(TM) and PowToons(TM) plus find out how to stop giving Powerpoint(TM)...less presentations. In this course you'll have fun discovering how to use the power of imagery and simplicity to get your message across. Visual presentations should enhance you vocal delivery, not replace it.

We will also introduce you to presentation things you can do on and with your Ipad and iphone that will surprise you!

And...how about having your own personal portable camerman in a Swivl(TM) device! Come and find out how you can build, edit and upload your presentations and tutorials to the cloud and distribute them worldwide.

Purpose:

Ever looked in the mirror and thought you needed an image overhaul? Maybe its time to discover what you can do to quickly look good without having to spend months losing weight or getting that tummy tuck! There are ways to skilfully dress the part without breaking the bank, so that you can communicate with confidence and credibility in business and in your everyday life. This course is designed to give you an overall understanding of how to present yourself properly. The course is conducted in a one-to-one format over a three session period. The first two sessions last for one hour and deal with building your professional image. The final session lasts for two hours, during which you are given a full makeover. During the course you will learn how to dress for success, use your voice well and feel good about yourself as you move forward in the world.
